Starting with a top-quality yarn means we can guarantee our uniform pieces will be extremely versatile without relying on harsh chemical finishes like PFAS to minimize pilling, wrinkling and loss of color brightness from washing and use.
Utilizing contemporary fabric technology is another way we incorporate added durability to DENNIS uniforms. Our robust but soft blouses offer crisp, tidy lines while maintaining a comfortable hand feel, wear after wear, and our stretch pinpoint oxfords combine the best of wearability, design and garment longevity. Launched in 2020, our Tech line of products features an innovative fabric built to help ventilate and pull excess moisture away from the skin, keeping students cool, composed and ready for anything the classroom or athletic field might bring. All our garments include added functionality built in from the fabric up.
On top of this solid base we also consider additional features that bring extra durability and strength to DENNIS uniforms, including reinforced knees in select styles and sizes of pants, double-needle stitching in many pieces, plus thoughtful adjustable growth bands in most jumpers, skirts and bottoms, especially in quickly growing younger students’ size ranges. Offering these features means students stay in their uniforms for longer, saving families the trouble and cost of replacing them too frequently. We love knowing that our uniforms have been thoroughly enjoyed by the end of their lifespan, keeping them out of landfills and minimizing excess waste.
Once produced, our garments undergo rigorous testing by our product team, who wash and rewash numerous times to ensure they keep their color and overall quality while maintaining their features in good condition under duress. Any products that do not pass the test are redesigned, remade and retested until the entire team is satisfied.
