DENNIS Uniform ("DENNIS") announces the opening of their new state-of-the-art shipping and decorating facility in Fort Worth, Texas. At over three times larger than their previous facility in southeast Portland, this new 129,000 square foot distribution center offers DENNIS a leading advantage in the school uniform industry with generous space for shipping and receiving from 29 loading dock doors as well as increased product storage and an expansive dedicated decoration area. This newly-built warehouse is also 100% climate controlled to provide a safe and comfortable working environment for all staff – an important benefit considering the many 100+ degree days common to the area in summer.
Fort Worth native and US Army Veteran Jacob Guilhas has joined the DENNIS team as VP of Fulfillment and Production onsite in Fort Worth, bringing more than 20 years of experience in warehousing and fulfillment. Jacob will lead the DENNIS Texas team, hiring up to 100 new positions throughout 2023, consisting of forklift operators, warehouse and production workers as well as administrative staff. 90% of initial staff reside in Fort Worth or nearby bordering cities Crowley and Burleson, aligning with DENNIS’ focus on local business development. DENNIS looks forward to future achievements made possible from the formation of their strong new Texas team, who will continue to work closely with the rest of the growing company, including Product Development, Planning, Customer Care, Finance and Human Resources teams all headquartered in Portland.
